Arrington, Tenn. (October 21, 2014) Packed with a creative array of building and decorating ideas, the holiday Parade of Homes returns to the beautiful, gated Kings’ Chapel community of Arrington, south of Nashville, December 6-21, 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily with the last ticket sold at 7 p.m., and is presented by Reliant Bank and LP Building Products benefiting Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee.

Kings’ Chapel Developer John Powell said the homes, ranging from French Provincial to English Country, highlight the beauty of Williamson County while providing so many great ideas for visitors.

“Wrapped in 350 acres of green space, the Parade returns to Kings’ Chapel for great home inspiration. We are also hosting 12 Days of Christmas fun events including a Southern Living tablescapes workshop, Pinterest Online Party and a great Instagram contest,” Powell said. “Each of the holiday festive homes has blogger decorated trees based on actual wishes of Make-A-Wish children with themes of the circus, Greece, the Grammys and Comic Con. The trees are also part of a silent auction,” Powell said.

 

Kings’ Chapel will donate proceeds from Parade events to Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. Admission to the parade, an on-going silent auction and the 12 Days of Christmas events will help fund the wishes of several children with life threatening medical conditions. Emmy-award winning, Dancing With the Stars sensation Derek Hough is kicking off the opening of the Nashville area’s premier home tour, the Parade of Homes at Kings’ Chapel neighborhood in Arrington, on Saturday, November 29 with a Great Gatsby themed dinner/dance to help raise additional funds for tour benefiting charity, Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. The 16-day home tour also features 12 Days of Christmas Parade of Homes related activities, featuring Deck the Halls with Southern Living Lifestyle Garden Editor Carmen Johnston, a Santa’s Workshop and a cooking demonstration by Kings’ Chapel’s own Chef Brian. The holiday Parade of Homes, chaired by David Crane, of Crane Builders, includes builder, designer and blogger teams: Arnold Homes LLC with Julie McCoy Interiors and home blogger, The Decorologist; Drees Homes with Design Environments Inc. and home blogger, Rain On A Tin Roof; Gregg & Rains Building Group with ReFresh Home and home blogger, Thistlewood Farms; and, Tennessee Valley Homes building and design with home blogger, Chaotically Creative.

 

Four beautiful homes are being created for the December Nashville Parade of Homes in Kings’ Chapel community in Arrington, TN.

The gated community of Kings’ Chapel previously hosted the parade in 2012. Neighborhood developer John Powell said the building team represents the best-of-the-best in the industry with the latest in design ideas and holiday inspiration.

“Excitement is building as the year’s only Parade of Homes returns back to Kings’ Chapel. Located in the pretty “Park Area” of the neighborhood, four gorgeous custom homes packed with hundreds of building and design ideas will have several holiday surprises. And, our After-The-Parade Sale takes place Monday, December 22 just in time for last minute holiday shopping,” Powell said.

 

David Crane, of Crane Builders, is chairing the annual event. This year’s building team includes:  Arnold Homes LLC,  Drees Homes, Gregg & Rains Building Group and Tennessee Valley Homes.

 

In 2009, Kings’ Chapel partnered with the Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee nonprofit for a holiday home show. Powell said it is fitting that this special organization which grants wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions benefits from the home tour.
